OpenAI has launched a Decisions API in public beta, available via a dedicated /v1/decisions endpoint with gpt-6-luna as the only supported model. The API evaluates text, images, or both and returns typed answers—predicates, choices from fixed options, or rubric-based scores—about 10x faster than the Responses API, per the company. It is designed for classifying content, routing requests, and prioritizing work. General availability is expected in the coming weeks.
