Benefit Street Partners answers questions faster with Codex

AnnouncementProductOct 16, 2026

Benefit Street Partners portfolio manager Anant Kumar built a BDC mark tracker in roughly one day, with about 10–12 total development hours, using OpenAI's Codex for code review. He also created a credit agreement analyzer that produces a first-pass analysis in about 20 minutes, followed by an hour or more of human review. Kumar says analysts can now answer investment committee follow-up questions within a day, often during meetings, while final investment decisions remain human.
