Anthropic's latest Threat Intelligence report found attackers using Claude to conduct cyberattacks, including one case where an attacker with a stolen developer token gained full administrative control of a company's cloud environment in roughly three hours. The 154-page report covers activity disrupted from December 2025 through August 2026. It also documents a China-based app studio operating more than 4,700 personas across dating apps, conversing with at least 25,000 people over two weeks.
