A developer has open-sourced Chrome Relay, a tool that lets Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Paseo drive background tabs in the user's everyday Chrome via the command line, using existing signed-in profiles. The extension avoids Chrome's remote-debugging prompt and keeps agent tabs in a collapsed group. Connections require a per-machine secret and process checks; actions are logged, with typed text stored only as length. It is macOS and Chrome only.
