GMKtec has announced the EVO-X3, a mini-PC built around AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 128GB of LPDDR5X memory. Unlike the plastic EVO-X2, the EVO-X3 uses a metal chassis and adds an OCuLink port routing four PCIe Gen4 lanes for external devices such as an eGPU dock. The port surpasses Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth but is not hot-plug-capable. I/O includes a 40Gbps USB4 port, though front connectivity is limited.
