OCP Summit 2026: Powering AI with Open Innovations in Scale-Up, Scale-Out, and Scale-Across Networks

At the 2026 Open Compute Project Global Summit, Meta announced IcePack, its first liquid-cooled network rack, and IceCube, a 102.4T switch platform. The company also introduced Flattened Planar Fabric, a multiplane backend fabric for larger GPU clusters, and open-sourced MetaRoCE, its AI transport protocol. The announcements support AI workloads including Meta's Muse Wonder and Muse Spark models and the Muse personal AI agent.
