NVIDIA released Kumo Forecast, a multivariate time-series forecasting model built on the MOMENT-1-large backbone with roughly 340 million parameters, available under Apache 2.0. The model combines a pretrained Transformer encoder with a trainable forecasting head, and its DARR mode retrieves historical patterns via nearest-neighbor search to blend with direct predictions. It includes a DataFrame-first API, configurable horizons, and an interpretability framework producing horizon-specific explanations. NVIDIA recommends use-case-specific testing.
