Cloudflare's Clairic pulls data from documents faster and cheaper than LLMs

AnnouncementModelOct 20, 2026

Cloudflare has released Clairic, an AI model it says extracts data from documents faster and more cheaply than large language models, now in preview on Workers AI. Users name fields, and Clairic returns values with confidence scores in a single pass. Cloudflare positions Clairic to run in chains with models like Jev, Clef, and GLM-5.3; one example takes 19.3 seconds versus 61.7 seconds for GLM-5.3 alone. Clairic cannot yet reliably handle longer calculation chains.
