Google Antigravity: Accelerating Antimicrobial Peptide Search

AnnouncementProductOct 15, 2026

Google demonstrated how biologists used Google Antigravity, its agentic development platform, to identify a novel antimicrobial peptide candidate, which is now undergoing wet-lab validation. The walkthrough targeted Streptococcus pseudopneumoniae, with the agent handling database orchestration and structural analysis while researchers steered strategy. Google also introduced a Biomolecular Structure Viewer, a 3D visualization tool embedded in Antigravity. The platform uses ProtNLM to predict protein function from amino acid sequences in UniProt.
