Cerebras CEO says we're nearing a future where everyone has a personal AI assistant at home

SpeculationProductOct 13, 2026

Cerebras Systems CEO Andrew Feldman said at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 that widespread home AI appliances are "not very far away." He cited consumer AI agents like Meta's Muse and Instinct, the latter a startup valued at $10 billion, as evidence AI is reaching everyday users. Feldman predicts personal assistants will run locally, handling tasks on device and in the cloud, with access to credit cards. He said he already uses a collection of agents for his own scheduling.
