Meta Andromeda: Powering the Next Generation of Ads Retrieval Through Model-System Co-Design

AnnouncementModelOct 28, 2026

Meta announced the next generation of Meta Andromeda, its personalized ads retrieval engine, co-designed with NVIDIA across model, system, and GPU hardware. The system scores eligible ads at over one billion ads per second, a 100x lift over the 2024 system, and delivered a 2.4% increase in Facebook conversions since 2025. A mixture-of-experts architecture achieves near ranking-level performance with roughly 300x fewer inference FLOPs, reaching over 10 billion ads per second on a single GH200 GPU.
