He was responding to U.S. executives including Anthropic's Dario Amodei, OpenAI's Sam Altman, and Elon Musk urging slower AI development. Separately, Minister of State Security Chen Yixin called for an AI security risk prevention system. SoftBank, an OpenAI investor, fell 10% in Japan.
